Final Video:

Self-evaluation:  In creating this video I had a lot of trouble. First I did not know how to make a video of, so instead of taking video I decided to make a video of a series of pictures instead. I think this was a good decision because editing just the progression of pictures was difficult for me. Deciding how long I wanted each picture to be on the screen for took me a while, wanting to make each picture appear on screen for the same amount of time took me even longer. Initially I was not going to add transitions between the pictures but after trying one out I figured it looked better with transitions than without. Adding the transitions also caused me some trouble, because I could not seem to get the transition to overlap the picture instead of appearing after the picture and going into the following picture, but after working at it for hours I finally figured out how to do. Adding music was probably the easiest part for me, although getting the song to fade in and fade out I would not have known how to do without Professor Sanders's help. However adding text took me a while to figure out. I did know how to get text, however I did not know how to input it into the video, after googling it I figured out that I had to drag the text into the timeline to get it to appear on the screen. Creating a story with the pictures came easily to me, however coming up with a title for my video took some thinking. Overall I think I did a good job with this video, because I worked with timing, effects, transitions, and sound which was the purpose of this assignment. Through this assignment I also learned how to use Final Cut and will be able to use it in the future if need-be.
